Have you ever thought, what can I start doing today to make the rest of my life healthier? If yes that’s great, if not that’s great too because today I will show you one habit that will completely change your life. So are you ready?

But before telling you this magic tip, first I want to mention my conversation with a friend of mine. So lately, my classmate, Matt asked me: “Hey, Carl. What are you doing that you got so much energy and look so healthy?” To be honest, I did not know what to say. After a while, I told him that I started to live like a monk. But not this kind of monk who lives in a monastery. But this kind of modern monk. He got confused. He asked: What do you mean by saying “modern monk”? I respond: This type of person leads a simple life. He does not need fancy clothes and cars. He lives below his means. He eats not so much but enough. He lives as being himself and true to his beliefs. He appreciates every moment of his life and is grateful for all of the blessings that life gave him.” After a while, he told me that I should learn him how to live like that.

After this short conversation, probably you can now see this one fascinating thing that I want you to tell about- minimalism. But in this case, I want you to look at diet and how all minimalists use this concept to live healthier lives. So the fundament of their lifestyle is fasting. To be more specific- intermittent masting. So what does it mean? It means that you do not eat for some time. It can be eight, ten, twelve, or even twenty-four hours. It depends on how your body responds. If you feel okay after sixteen hours go to twenty. The key is to balance. But the best result we can achieve after 16–24 hours is because during this time our bodies clean themselves and go through this process called- autophagy. I want you to remember that every change takes time. So do not be hard on yourself. If you feel tough, go and get yourself some healthy food. Furthermore, I want you to listen to your body and not overcomplicate it. Fasting is easy and healthy.

So that’s it. To tell the truth, IF has been a complete game-changer for me. Less inflammation, more energy, and better sleep. There are for sure more benefits and if do you want to learn more about IF, go check out the Hopkins medicine website:
